Luke 12: 22- 34
Jesus said don’t you worry bout what you eat, drink, or wear;
God knows all you need, these shouldn’t be a care.
See the birds and consider, you’re worth more than they;
None fall apart from His will, please be still and pray.
Birds cannot store away, He must feed them each day;
Stop worrying, He’ll feed you, if in Him you stay.
Can you add an hour to your life? God says,”No you can’t”;
Don’t worry bout the rest either, it don’t help to rave and rant.
Check out the lilies too, they don’t labor or spin;
Put ‘em up against Solomons’ splendor, I know the lilies win.
See how He clothes the grass, that’s here then in the fire;
Stop worrying what you’ll wear, and God’ll show you He’s no liar.
You’re one of little faith if worrying’s what you always do;
Like Pagans crying out, but they don’t even know to who.
He knows the things you need, so seek His kingdom first;
He gives these things as well, you need not even thirst.
Do not worry little flock, He’s pleased to give you all;
Sell stuff, give to the poor, and only on Him call.
Store up your treasure in heaven, so there your heart will be;
No moth or rust or thief can touch, alone God has that key.
